Scope of application
This privacy policy statement applies to Catogo Apps with all online offers, content, features and services within the various Catogo apps in the available operating systems (iOS, Android, Windows). With the use of Catogo products, especially the Catogo app, you agree to the application of these provisions. Please read them carefully.

If Catogo collects or will collect in a future build personal data only insofar as you voluntarily provide it and to the extent that such collection is permitted by law or agreed to by written consent. Personal data encompasses any information concerning the personal or factual information about a specified or specifiable natural person in accordance with Google Play Developer Distribution. This includes information such as name and/or physical address and/or e-mail address and/or your location and/or telephone number and/or, if applicable, user data.
Among the types of Personal Data that this Application collects, by itself or through third parties, there are: Approximate location permission (non-continuous); Microphone permission; Phone permission; SMS permission; Storage permission; Social media accounts permission; Photo Library permission; Call permission; number of Users ; In-app purchases; Application opens; Tracker; Data communicated while using the service; first name; last name; phone number; email address. Complete details on each type of Personal Data collected are provided in the dedicated sections of this privacy policy or by specific explanation texts displayed prior to the Data collection. Personal Data may be freely provided by the User, or, in case of Usage Data, collected automatically when using this Application. Unless specified otherwise, all Data requested by this Application is mandatory and failure to provide this Data may make it impossible for this Application to provide its services. In cases where this Application specifically states that some Data is not mandatory, Users are free not to communicate this Data without consequences to the availability or the functioning of the Service. Users who are uncertain about which Personal Data is mandatory are welcome to contact the Owner. Any use of Cookies – or of other tracking tools – by this Application or by the owners of third-party services used by this Application serves the purpose of providing the Service required by the User, in addition to any other purposes described in the present document and in the Cookie Policy, if available. - Methods of processing
The Owner takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data. The Data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following organizational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Owner, in some cases, the Data may be accessible to certain types of persons in charge, involved with the operation of this Application (administration, sales, marketing, legal, system administration) or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communications agencies) appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by the Owner. The updated list of these parties may be requested from the Owner at any time.

Place
The Data is processed at the Owner's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. Depending on the User's location, data transfers may involve transferring the User's Data to a country other than their own. Device permissions for Personal Data access
Depending on the User's specific device, this Application may request certain permissions that allow it to access the User's device Data as described below. By default, these permissions must be granted by the User before the respective information can be accessed. Once the permission has been given, it can be revoked by the User at any time. In order to revoke these permissions, Users may refer to the device settings or contact the Owner for support at the contact details provided in the present document. The exact procedure for controlling app permissions may be dependent on the User's device and software. Please note that the revoking of such permissions might impact the proper functioning of this Application. If User grants any of the permissions listed below, the respective Personal Data may be processed (i.e accessed to, modified or removed) by this Application.

Approximate location permission (non-continuous)
Used for accessing the User's approximate device location. This Application may collect, use, and share User location Data in order to provide location-based services. The geographic location of the User is determined in a manner that isn't continuous. This means that it is impossible for this Application to derive the approximate position of the User on a continuous basis.

Used for accessing a host of typical features associated with telephony.

Allows accessing and recording microphone audio from the User's device.

Used for accessing a host of typical features associated with telephony. This enables, for instance, read-only access to the “phone state”, which means it enables access to the phone number of the device, current mobile network information, or the status of any ongoing calls.

Used for accessing the User's social media account profiles, such as Facebook and Twitter.

You may be able to use the Catogo products both with and without registration. When registering, you will have to specify your e-mail address and choose a password. This data is necessary to ensure that you will be able to take advantage of the full range of services offered. Last but not least, we might need this, and possibly other data, to respond to your requests, questions and critique. You might also have the option of uploading a profile picture and choosing a username. This occurs solely on a voluntary basis. We tend to use personal information to provide a safe, effective and user-relevant experience on our Catogo app, including for
- internet-based retrieval of content,
- anonymous statistical analysis for studies in order to modify the Apps and design them user-friendly,
- the ability to use the invite feature to recommend the product to your friends and acquaintances (email address),
- the ability to use social & community features, e.g. to share content and / or news-articles with other users on social networks or e-mail, mark articles with the “like-button”, and others.

Social sign in
If social sign is in the application or will be added in a future build we will be offering the opportunity to register directly on our products with your existing profile from selected social networks. Catogo might be using “Facebook Sign In,” “Google+ Sign In,” “Twitter Sign Up,” and “Microsoft Account Sign In” (for Windows phones). If you choose to use one of these signup options, you will be forwarded to the respective site, where you will be led through the signup process. Using the data transmitted from the respective social network provider, we then create your user account, of course without saving your friend lists and contacts. There is no permanent link between your user account and the Facebook, Google or Twitter account. Please see the privacy policies of Facebook, Google or Twitter for more information concerning the purpose and scope of their data collection, their further processing and use of data, as well as your rights in this respect and setting options for protecting your privacy.

Push notifications
The app only uses push notifications with your consent. You can always choose the way these notifications will be displayed on your device or even disable push notifications by adjusting your device settings.
In addition, if you have registered with your e-mail address you will be informed via mail in a summary about your activities within the app as well as the activities related to your favorite club.

Social plug-ins
If the Catogo apps use or will use in a future build social plugins from various social networks you will be able to, for example, recommend content to a friend or use the sharing functions. In our app, we might be using the following plug-ins (not operated by Catogo): Facebook, Twitter, and your email program on the operating system iOS. On the operating systems Android and Windows Phone, additional plug-ins may be used and include all installed apps with a sharing function (e.g. LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, Youtube, Instagram, etc.). If you want to use one or more of these services, you must register there. Please check the privacy policies of these third-party plug-in services such as Facebook Facebook, Google+, Twitter etc. for information on the purpose and scope of data collection, further processing and use of your data, as well as your rights in this respect and changing settings options in order to protect your privacy.

Counting method
If Statistical data is collected or will be collected in a future build, when users access the Catogo app, this data will not be associated with your person. This data collection serves to improve Catogo and to provide you as the user with the most extensive functionality possible.
We might be using web beacons in this app, which can be explained as a simple programming code that lets us know when the app has been displayed or clicked on. To this end, Catogo uses certified products, some of which comply with the U.S. - EU Safe Harbor Principles. Furthermore, Catogo might use the technology Google advertising-ID (advertising ID), IP and Mac addresses, also only collected anonymously. It is not possible to draw a connection between your data and your person through these systems.
By using the Catogo apps, you agree to the third-party processing of data for the purpose outlined above. You can disable these services in the app using a browser add-on if you do not want Catogo to analyze your data:

Registration and authentication provided directly by this Application
By registering or authenticating, Users allow this Application to identify them and give them access to dedicated services. The Personal Data is collected and stored for registration or identification purposes only. The Data collected are only those necessary for the provision of the service requested by the Users.
Personal Data processed: date of birth; email address; first name; phone number; picture; User ID; username.

Deletion, access to and correction of data
We might offer a service in which you choose to delete your data insofar as it is no longer required for the aforementioned purposes. If you decide to delete your account, we also delete all data from your account. Data that you have shared publicly with others remains available, since it belongs to the account of a third party or is on a public platform. If data must be retained for legal reasons, it will be locked. The data is then no longer available for further use.
